Search consultants work in a manner that is similar to recruiters, but they work for a company looking to fill a position, rather than working for a person looking for a job. Usually a recruiter will take on a candidate and look for positions that would be a good fit and when one is found the candidate pays the recruiter in exchange for their efforts.
